Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Health Policy Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyze health policies and programs, assess their impacts on public health, and provide recommendations for improvements. You will work closely with policymakers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure that health policies are evidence-based and effectively address community needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on health policies, programs, and regulations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing health policies and recommend evidence-based changes.
  • Prepare detailed reports, policy briefs, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather data and insights on health issues.
  • Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory developments affecting healthcare and public health.
  • Provide support in the development of policy proposals and advocacy strategies.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of health policy studies and evaluations.
  • Stay informed about current trends, challenges, and innovations in health policy and healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Economics, Political Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in health policy analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, policies, and regulations is highly desirable.
