Position: Registered Nurse (RN)- Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Start Date: 9/30/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Midland, MI, 48670
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights, 12
Shift Notes: 7:36P - 7:12A (12 Hour Nights)
Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend/Holiday
On-Call Requirements: None
COVID-19/FLU Requirement: na
Traveler Policy: Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates for one 13-week contract, afterwards, they are to go perm- 50 mile radius restriction)
Patient Ratio: 1:4/5 (Target) to 1:6
Progressive care nurses are registered nurses who are skilled in assessing and treating acutely ill patients. They monitor critical vital signs, detect changes, and perform interventions when required. They provide care to patients who do not require treatment in Intensive Care Units, but whose conditions need constant observation and monitoring.

- 2+ years of experience - Required
- Recent traveler experience - highly preferred
- Work History
- Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
- Licensure & Certifications (MI State License/Lara & BLS - AHA & ACLS - AHA, NIHSS)
