Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain our database systems, ensuring their performance, availability, and security. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL development and will be a critical part of our team, working closely with various departments to support their data needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and database objects (tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, etc.).
• Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and security across all database systems.
• Collaborate with application developers to create database solutions that meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain documentation for database systems and processes.
• Perform regular database maintenance tasks, such as backups, indexing, and query optimization.
• Work closely with the finance team to support their data needs and provide insights.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Knowledge of best practices in database design and development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems.
• Experience working with finance teams and understanding of financial data and processes.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (Azure SQL Managed Instance).
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft Power Platform tools.
