Job Title: Endpoint Security Engineer

Location: Hybrid - Irving, TX 75039 (Onsite: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday / Remote: Tuesday, Friday)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Security Specialist with a strong background in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, particularly SentinelOne, and device policy management (GPO, Intune). The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing EDR solutions, managing device policies, and ensuring security compliance across our network environment. This role will also involve training and supporting our workforce on information security standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, with a preference for experience in SentinelOne
  • Establish and manage EDR endpoints across medium to large network environments
  • Develop, implement, and manage Active Directory Group Policies (GPO) for enhanced security
  • Manage and configure Intune device policies for Windows endpoints
  • Leverage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) to support endpoint security measures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure security policies are effectively implemented and maintained
  • Provide training and awareness programs on information security standards and best practices to the workforce
  • Work independently on security projects and initiatives with minimal supervision to meet program goals

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions
  • Experience with establishing and implementing EDR endpoints in medium to large network environments
  • Expertise in Active Directory Group Policy (GPO) management
  • Knowledge of Intune device policies for Windows endpoints
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and train employees on security practices
  • Ability to manage projects independently, driving security initiatives to completion

Recommended Skills

  • Security certifications in endpoint security solutions (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of Splunk query language for security monitoring
  • Knowledge of NIST security controls
  • Experience working in mid-size or large IT and security environments, with exposure to infrastructure, network, and cloud security
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of combined IT and security work experience in mid-size or large environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in EDR solutions, Group Policy, and Intune device policies
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision

Working Conditions

This is a hybrid position based in Irving, TX, requiring in-office presence on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote work on Tuesday and Friday in accordance with company policy.
