As we expand into North Carolina, we're excited to welcome a skilled Project Manager to support our growing customer base in Charlotte and Raleigh, NC, while also overseeing projects in Southern Virginia and South Carolina.

Position Overview: As the Construction Project Manager, you will be the key liaison between our Construction Services Department and customers, responsible for managing modular construction projects from planning to completion. Your primary focus will be the North Carolina market (Charlotte, Raleigh), with additional oversight of projects in Southern VA and South Carolina. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can effectively lead teams and manage subcontractors while ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits in NC, VA, and SC to assess conditions and project complexity
• Prepare and manage pre-construction documentation, including kick-off meetings, scopes of work, permitting documents, and safety protocols
• Hire, oversee, and manage subcontractors, ensuring all work aligns with project plans and safety standards
• Maintain daily records of site activities, addressing any issues that arise, and reporting weekly to the department head
• Support Site Superintendents with complex job site issues, ensuring all safety and security protocols are strictly followed
• Lead post-construction wrap-up, including punch list completion, change order reconciliation, and debrief meetings
• Ensure project sites adhere to Wilmot Modular’s core values and company standards
• Travel regularly across Charlotte, Raleigh, Southern VA, and SC to ensure consistent site management
  
  

Education & Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of proven success in construction site management
• Strong experience with MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems in both design and field applications
• Modular construction experience preferred
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with construction management software
• 30-hour OSHA Certification required
• Ability to travel regularly across NC, Southern VA, and SC
