Job Description

As the Project Executive you’ll be responsible for leading a team of Project Managers and Associate Project Managers to ensure client projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and meets the established goals of the project.

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Implementation of the Project strategy.
  • Direct supervision of all Project Managers and Associate Project Managers assigned to the Project.
  • Attendance at pre-construction meetings.
  • Attendance at meetings where DSS Condo is presenting to the Client.
  • Attendance at all construction meetings.
  • Perform weekly site visits at all projects with active construction sites.
  • Evaluation of all Project documents to ensure compliance with all contract requirements and adherence to standards established by the Operations Manager or Executive Vice President of Operations.
  • Monitor all Project Participants performance.
  • Review Project Documents on a monthly basis and provide risk evaluation.
  • Provide guidance and course correction for deficiencies identified.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all Project participants to ensure optimal level of client satisfaction.
  • Provide the Executive Vice President of Operations and Operations Manager with progress reports for all responsible projects on a monthly basis.
  • Work with teams across DSS Condo to ensure coordination of oversight for projects with varied scope and complexity.
  • Ensure optimal level of client satisfaction.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

BE AVAILABLE TO:

  • Attend evening meetings.
  • Perform weekend work from time to time.
  • Be mobile and work remotely from your vehicle, home office etc. when not working from our office

Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of construction experience, including direct management of project managers and assistant project managers
  • Proficiency with one or more of the following construction disciplines: concrete restoration at hi-rise residential buildings, roofing repairs and replacements, HVAC systems, waterproofing.
  • Ability to read, understand and improve upon construction documents
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with contractors and design professionals
  • Ability to lead construction (AOC) meetings
  • Experience leading a team of project managers working on up to 10 projects concurrently
  • Outstanding people management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to work well with clients
  • Strong verbal presentation skills in-person and online
