Description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering student to join our team of Summer 2024 Interns. Our internships are full-time, paid, and will run from May 13th, 2024, through August 2nd, 2024. This role will work collaboratively, daily with our Engineering groups. The internship assignment is designed to provide the student real-life work experience and training in the day-to-day activities in a manufacturing facility. Our internships are part of our recruiting strategy to attract and retain highly qualified talent.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Work on assigned projects with the close supervision of a mentor/supervisor/team member.
  • Update routings (i.e., Time Studies and developing Standard Work).
  • Update Work Instructions.
  • Add consumables to the Bill of Materials of products.
  • Assist in preparing the manufacturing line for a new product launch (i.e. assisting with Measurement System Analysis and validation builds).
  • Update our log of glue profiles.
  • Assist manufacturing engineers in daily production support activities.
  • Support other Engineering groups as workload requirements dictate.

Requirements

Education Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines and goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
