  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Business Analyst for a healthcare client located in Detroit, MI. This is a contract position.

Start Date: ASAP

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Supporting the Development and Maintenance the repository of medical policies, including annual reviews/updates
  • Collaboration with Medical Director on medical policy development and maintenance
  • Assist with the review of JUMP meeting minutes to update Medicare Policies where needed
  • Supporting the preparation of policies and documents for CRC and UMC Meetings
  • Research CPT or HCPCS codes as needed
  • Researching medical technologies as needed for specific cases requesting authorizations on technologies

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills in working through business processes, data analysis and issue resolution experience
  • 2+ years of analyzing and visualizing data using tools like SQL, spreadsheets and data visualization software experience
  • Project management experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Familiar with CMS NCD/LCDs

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with researching and writing policies
