About The Position

Job Description:

  • Beds: 42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14.
  • Common patient diagnosis: Neuro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi.
  • CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx.
  • Drips and medications: Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin,Dobutamine & Dopamine, Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG ,Anti-arrhythmics- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl,TPN and Insulin.
  • Specialty equipment used on unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun).
  • RN Ratio: 1:1-2.
  • Floating Required: Yes.
  • Scrub Color: Navy.

  • NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License.
  • Current AHA ACLS , BLS, NIHSS.
