  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary & Minimum Qualifications

The purpose of this position is to provide support in the Engineering & Operations Division. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design facilities to be utilized in the generation, transmission, or distribution of electrical power to ensure members of a reliable power supply
  • Review and write specifications for equipment used on PowerSouth's system to ensure PowerSouth equipment meets industry standards
  • Perform engineering calculations utilizing standard engineering formulas or computer techniques to ensure proper design and operation of PowerSouth's system
  • Complete special projects such as evaluating equipment or developing software to enable PowerSouth to be more efficient in the future
  • Ensuring the success of PowerSouth by promoting team work, group goals and objectives, proper communication and cooperation within the department, division, throughout the PowerSouth organization and with member systems
