Job Description: Business Development Representative (SaaS CRM/ERP):

Position Overview: As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a crucial role in driving our sales pipeline and expanding our customer base. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in sales, specifically within the SaaS CRM/ERP sector, and will be adept at identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and effectively communicating the value of our solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a sales role, with a proven track record in selling SaaS CRM/ERP solutions such as Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, or NetSuite.
  • Skills: Strong sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of CRM/ERP systems and their application in business processes. Familiarity with sales methodologies and tools.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Attributes: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients within the CRM/ERP space, including companies that use or are looking for solutions similar to Oracle, Salesforce, or NetSuite CRM/ERP.
  • Sales Outreach: Conduct outreach through various channels (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn) to generate interest and schedule meetings or demos.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in prospective companies.
  • Needs Analysis: Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and challenges, and align our solutions to address those needs effectively.
  • Product Demonstrations: Present and demonstrate the value of our SaaS CRM/ERP solutions to prospective clients, tailoring presentations to their specific requirements.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and track all sales activities in the CRM system, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospecting to closing and beyond.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
