About The Position

Job Description:

  • Med-Surg Oncology RN must be Chemo Certified that have permanent address less than 50 miles from facility address.
  • Orientation is every other Monday.
  • Cancer diagnosis (including some chemotherapy), palliative/end of life care, general med/surg - wound care, IV antibiotics, renal/kidney injury, pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, ortho/general/urology surgeries post operative.
  • Common medications: IV antibiotics, IV chemotherapy, IV fluids/electrolytes, PO antihypertensive meds, PO electrolyte replacement, controlled substances - narcotics, benzodiazepines, other assorted medications to treat chronic medical conditions (i.e. inhalers, insulin and other anti-diabetics, etc.)
  • EPIC charting.

  • Current NY State RN License.
