Job Description: We’re looking for a motivated and dynamic individual for the position of Industrial Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time role. In this position, you’ll be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the overall productivity of various industrial systems.
Responsibilities: As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Represent the company and its clients in professional meetings with vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging industrial engineering technologies, process improvement methodologies, and work planning strategies.
- Ensure adherence to client and regulatory standards in developing detailed process optimization plans.
- Analyze production layouts, material flow, and production equipment to enhance efficiency.
- Design, develop, and implement systems that improve productivity, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.
- Conduct time studies and motion analysis to refine labor utilization and machine performance.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis to recommend process improvements or technological upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, operations, and quality assurance, to align objectives.
- Assist in identifying bottlenecks, potential delays, and risks that impact the project timeline, cost, or quality.
- Maintain responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of engineering work products.
- Work with the procurement team and vendors to secure the necessary equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Analyze and resolve technical engineering conflicts that affect operational efficiency, cost, or customer satisfaction.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited university.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening and possess a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective oral and written communication abilities.
Preferences Include:
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Proficiency in industrial design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and production systems, supply chain optimization, and inventory management.
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and their application to industrial processes.
