Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Machine Operator in Auburn Hills, MI.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at our facility located in Auburn Hills, MI. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and utilizing your expertise to install, assemble, and maintain piping systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong attention to detail and basic computer skills to contribute to our organization's success.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine pipe layouts and specifications.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes using hand and power tools.
- Install and assemble piping systems according to specifications and project requirements.
- Inspect and test installed systems for leaks or other issues.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate completion of projects.
- Maintain and repair existing piping systems as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Be 18 years or older
- Authorized to work in the US
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Lift or move up to 10 lbs frequently or 25 lbs and occasionally lift +50lbs
