This position will be responsible for applying appropriate welding and cutting processes to join, fabricate, and repair material to create a variety of parts. The welder is responsible for operating and maintaining welding tools and equipment in a safe and accurate manner to achieve the quality and production standards of the company.

Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials 50lbs+

Standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and reaching

Use hand tools and operate machinery

Valid driver's license

Ability to work safely and accurately

Ability to follow direction and work independently under minimal supervision

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

3 Years Of Experience (preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas

Operating metalworking equipment like shears, saws, and grinders

Preparing materials for fabrication, such as cutting, grinding, or deburring

Fitting parts to be welded

Join parts using the appropriate welding process

Clean finished parts

Work together with other team members as needed

Cleaning and maintaining equipment

Keeping the shop clean and organized

Maintaining a safe work environment

Non CDL driving with and without trailer (preferred)

Knowledge, Skill & Abilities:

Blueprint reading

Ability to do basic math and read a tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch

General knowledge of equipment and operations including welding, plasma cutting, oxy fuel torch, drilling, punching holes, bending, and metal band saw

Ability to operate forklift (will train)

Ability to follow instructions

Adhering to safety protocols and using protective equipment

Ensure accuracy and quality

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies
