Join our client's team as a Digital Web Designer and play a key role in driving the future of their digital marketing strategy!

As part of our client's efforts to enhance their loyalty program, they are evolving the digital communication channels, particularly focusing on email, push, and SMS marketing. Your creativity and expertise will help us deliver targeted, data-driven content that engages our highly loyal customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital design, creating high-energy content, and thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Responsibilities:

• Create compelling email designs based on provided templates that drive engagement across mobile and desktop platforms, adhering to accessibility standards.
• Collaborate closely with the copywriting team to conceptualize and execute digital marketing campaigns.
• Develop a variety of email assets, producing 8-10 new emails per month with multiple versions to support segmented messaging, offer testing, and automated journeys.
• Support web and app creative needs, including banner and content card creation.
• Participate in the development of Potbelly’s new email design system, contributing to the creation of core templates and assisting in modular, scalable creative efforts.
• Utilize static and animated designs to create high-energy content, enhancing engagement across digital channels.
• Work efficiently at scale, utilizing tools and processes to streamline the production of multiple versions of each asset.
• Collaborate with the team to test and learn from creative variations, applying data insights to improve performance.
• Assist in limited content creation when necessary, conceptualizing creative assets when existing content is unavailable.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 6 years of experience
• Proven experience in designing digital content, especially within the email space, with an understanding of consumer insights, business needs, and key message delivery.
• Proficiency with email design and automation platforms such as HubSpot, Cheetah, MailChimp, Braze, Punchh, and Paytronix.
• Expertise in creating both static and animated designs for digital platforms.
• Mobile-first designer with the ability to translate designs for desktop.
• Experience working with engagement platforms and producing digital content at scale.
• Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with copywriters and other team members in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
• A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
