Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

The Information Technology Category and Sourcing Specialist will be an individual contributor and a key member of the KLA Procurement and the IT category teams. The individual will lead the end-to-end category management, sourcing, contracting, negotiating, and strategic supplier management for global IT sub-categories that include hardware, software, security, telecommunications, and any associated professional and system integration services. This role requires close communication with the CIO, CIO leadership team (service owners), and functional business leaders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IT category strategies and action plans.
• Direct experience as lead negotiator in high-level, high-value IT negotiations with major global providers.
• Develop and issue RF(x)s, analyzes proposals, negotiate price/delivery, lead the team through a concise, process.
• Negotiate sophisticated contracts, master agreements, software licensing agreements, SaaS, PaaS, professional service agreements, outsourcing agreements with Services Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Shown experience running IT strategic suppliers.
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing and purchasing principles and standard methodologies with robust process and control knowledge and execution.
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously handling multifaceted needs.
• Change management skills and self-awareness to take varying approaches with a dynamic set of partners.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a dynamic, sophisticated environment. Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.
• Strategic and analytical attitude with the ability to consider non-traditional approaches as the function, needs, and business evolves.
• Proactive and results-oriented.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong negotiation, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
• Understanding of contract terms and conditions to mitigate commercial and legal risk.

Minimum Qualifications

• Five to ten years of Information Technology (IT) category management experience in an indirect procurement environment.
• BS/BA Business or related field with preferred concentration in Operations or Supply Chain Management (MS/MBA preferred a plus)
