We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Software Support Specialist in St Augustine, Florida. This role will be part of a dynamic team in the tech industry, where you will be tasked with ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software.

Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing structured system testing and integration testing across enterprise solutions.

Troubleshooting and debugging software, contributing to the overall quality of our products.

Utilizing your understanding of computer programs and software behavior to identify potential problems.

Creating and executing test scripts and test cases to ensure the functionality of our software.

Exploring problems and their causes, behaviors, and potential fixes, contributing to the improvement of our software.

Demonstrating a keen interest in software development, understanding the intricacies of database and data flows, business logic, and UI/UX.

Keeping abreast of various code platforms, management practices, and technical writing in the software industry.

Maintaining a high level of tech savviness, utilizing it to understand and resolve customer inquiries.

Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

Maintaining accurate customer credit records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible.

Requirements

Possession of a minimum of one year of experience in a Quality Assurance Tester role or similar
Proficient in creating and executing test scripts
Familiarity with developing and applying test cases
Demonstrable experience in debugging software
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive in identifying issues and presenting solutions
Knowledge of various software testing methodologies (Unit testing, Integration testing, System testing, etc.)
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Willingness to continuously update knowledge and skills in software testing
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
