SCCM Systems Administrator

Soni Resources' client is seeking a SCCM System Administrator to join their team! As a SCCM System Admin, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's Microsoft Config Manager (SCCM) environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure by managing software deployments, device configurations, and security policies.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot device build issues related to SCCM deployments.
• Create and update group policies to enforce organizational standards and security requirements.
• Investigate software behavior and deployment issues to identify and resolve problems.
• Evaluate new hardware components (e.g., 8k monitors, new graphics cards) to assess their compatibility and suitability for our environment.
• Roll out security patches for Windows, Office, and third-party applications using SCCM.
• Update and optimize software deployment automation processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Config Manager (SCCM) is required.
• Experience with Intune is preferred.
• Strong understanding of PC hardware, firmware, and architecture.
• Deep technical knowledge of Windows and the Windows Enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated experience with endpoint security best practices (e.g., BitLocker, Defender, Exploit Guard).
• Experience with Group Policy is required.
• Experience with application packaging and Microsoft 365 is preferred.
• Strong experience with cloud technologies is preferred.
• Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong client service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Scripting experience or an interest in PowerShell.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
• Visa sponsorship will not be provided within three years of the application date.

Schedule: 5 days a week onsite, 9 hour shift

Compensation: $150,000 a year
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications .
