Job duties: This is advanced and specialized technical work, Administrative Support, by the demonstration of the complexity and/or variety of assignments and by the relative independence. The incumbent may supervise, train, direct, and provide guidance to a group of staff members.
Examples of work performed:
- Handle routine administrative duties for the Court Administrator.
- Handle Human Resources, personnel, benefit records, answer payroll questions and manage interpreter scheduling
- Handle inquiries from the OJA, all court personnel, judges, attorneys, external stakeholders, jurors, and the public
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, GoCo, JazzHR, Centralized Case Management System (CCMS), and any other technology assigned
- Serve as a liaison between departments and divisions within the court system, vendors, and the public
- Prepare budget forecasts and monitor expenditures of all departments of the court system
- Maintain inventory of all furniture and equipment
- Maintain and control maintenance contracts and service work on all machines and equipment, as assigned
- Other duties that may be assigned by the Court Administrator
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and arithmetic
- Ability to provide direction and guidance to staff members
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and establish and maintain a harmonious work environment
- Skills in the use of office technology
