Job Description: As an In-Office Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering advanced technical support and managing project work from our office. Most of your work will be handled remotely, but you will travel to client sites for onboarding purposes approximately once or twice a month. All travel expenses will be covered by the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support to clients remotely from the office, maintaining a high standard of rapid response.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows operating systems, Office 365, Azure, and VoIP.
  • Manage and prioritize service tickets using ConnectWise, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
  • Perform and oversee routine maintenance tasks, including server management, user account setup, and backup verification.
  • Prepare servers for deployment, including installation and configuration.
  • Set up and configure Office 365 tenants for new and existing clients.
  • Implement email security solutions to safeguard client communications.
  • Conduct audits of client networks to ensure compliance with best practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Travel to client sites for onboarding and other client-specific needs, approximately once or twice a month, with all travel expenses (flight, hotel, food) covered by the company.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, providing clear instructions and updates.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Ensure all support requests and project work are handled promptly, meeting our service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications:

  • Must have prior experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Proven expertise with ConnectWise, Office 365, Azure, and VoIP systems.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows operating systems and related technologies.
  • Experience preparing servers, setting up Office 365 tenants, and deploying email security solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • High sense of urgency with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience with server maintenance, user account management, backup verification, and network auditing.
  • Warm, personable, and client-focused attitude with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel to client sites approximately once or twice a month.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience working directly within an MSP environment.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and support platforms.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA A+, etc.) are a plus.
