Summary
The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for assembly, testing, repair of Mechanical and electronic equipment. Will provide back up support in areas of order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory.

Essential Functions

1. Pick parts for builds.
2. Act as primary assembler of hydraulic, pneumatic, motorized, and sensitive electronic equipment.
3. Modify or fabricated small parts as needed.
4. Assist in moving large components for product builds.
5. Assist with unpackaging and inspection of incoming shipments,
6. Where necessary, package and label outbound parts and freight, and complete corresponding
documentation.
7. Provide technical support to customers on the operation and troubleshooting of equipment.
8. Assist in managing inventory of parts used in manufacturing and finished goods.
9. Assist in purchasing inventory parts used in manufacturing.
10. Provide input relating to chronic or unusual problems encountered with the equipment.
11. Document customer service activities using customer database.
12. Ensure inventory control by replenishment; perform cycle counts and discrepancy reconciliation.
13. Ensure complete set of drawings with correct revision numbers and annotated software.
14. Maintain manufacturing records.
15. Document changes in S.O.P.s
16. Repair, install, and inspect electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written
directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
17. Repair, install, and inspect mechanical components or mechanical systems as directed through
verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
18. Ensures local, state, and national electrical codes are followed and proper materials are used
throughout electrical systems.
19. Manage and install cables and wiring, splicing as needed.
20. Perform safety checks to ensure design plans are feasible in various conditions.
21. Report potentially dangerous electrical or mechanical equipment to supervisor and take steps to
resolve the issue.

Travel
This position is based in our Billerica, MA office and requires up to 10% domestic travel.

Job Requirements

1. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
2. Valid driver s license
Education and Experience
1. Associate degree in mechanical or electrical tech OR other formal training required. Degree,
certification, or licensure required.
2. Ability to distinguish various colors of wires and distinguish electronic system sections and wiring.
3. 2+ years mechanical and electronics assembly, testing, and repair experience required.
4. Soldering experience preferred.
5. Some metals fabrication preferred.
6. Working knowledge of MS Office.
