JOB SUMMARY FOR PROJECT ENGINEER:

• The Project Engineer 4 position is integral to our capital introduction projects team at the Mossville Tech Center. This role focuses on managing new asset procurements, overseeing capital projects, and providing expert guidance on sand casting processes and foundry procedures. The team is dedicated to introducing and implementing new capital assets efficiently and effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PROJECT ENGINEER:

• Lead and manage new capital introduction projects.

• Oversee asset procurement, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

• Provide technical guidance on sand casting and reclamation processes.

• Use Power BI and other data visualization tools to track and present project progress.

• Develop and implement processes for thermal and mechanical aspects of new machinery.

• Ensure all projects comply with safety and quality standards.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR PROJECT ENGINEER:

• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in a project engineering role, with significant experience in capital projects and foundry operations. Sand casting and metal forging experience is essential.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on industrial, metallurgy, or mechanical engineering. Relevant certifications and additional qualifications are a plus.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROJECT ENGINEER:

• Proven experience in foundry operations

• Expertise in sand casting processes

• Capital project management experience

• Familiarity with Power BI, or data visualization tools

• Knowledge of data visualization tools

• Strong project management skills

• Proficiency in MS Office communication tools and project management tools (MS Project would be ideal)

• Ability to make technical decisions related to machinery and processes

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong coordination abilities

• Capability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors

• Advanced problem-solving skills

• Strong analytical abilities
