As a Senior Automation Eng., you will take a leadership role in designing, implementing, and optimizing sophisticated automation solutions within our financial services operations. Your expertise in automation technologies, strategic thinking, and ability to lead automation teams will contribute to the organization's continued success.
The hiring leader is looking for a Service Now Engineer who has strong Service Now development, documentation, maintenance, and operations experience.
Department: This individual will be working in the department that is responsible for automating security processes to enhance end-user and operational stakeholders' day-to-day functions
Responsibilities:
Developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements.
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Code reviews and quality control checks to guarantee maximum efficiency and productivity.
Debugging and fixing technical problems
Producing and running test cases to guarantee software quality.
Documenting code and application functionality
Create rational, competent-based technological designs from functional specifications
Create new ServiceNow procedures and workflows
Create unique service portal pages and widgets to aid the business organization
Control update sets for the code base s transfer to test and production environments
Develop processes with ServiceNow that improve user access and navigation
Provide regular updates on project status to supervisors
Required:
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, Information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Proficiency with ServiceNow development, such as scripting, workflows, and integrations.
Knowledge of CMDB Implementation
Demonstrated expertise in at least two SNOW modules (e.g. ITSM, CSM, SecOps etc.)
Expertise in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Proven ability to set up ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, sophisticated UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, and UI Scripts
Expertise with REST/SOAP APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems
Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
Strong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
ServiceNow Administrator Certification
Service Now Application Developer Certification
Preferred
Experience with software development methodologies such as Scrum, Agile or Waterfall
