Job Description:

  • This position is responsible to support the implementation of global sourcing strategies for Events and Medical Operations Services spend categories with transversal collaboration with any relevant category of spend and associated global lead buyers or regional/local buyers.
  • Candidate will support local operations linked to Events and Medical Operations services ensuring right level of support to key stakeholders .
  • Primary focus The Events and Medical Communications Agencies category includes all spend natures related to internal and external events, Booths, publications, Scientific Engagement, Medical Communications services, targeted communications, production & adaptation.
  • Key Focus of this role will be to: 1- Drive Key Events & med coms procurement drivers execution in its regions (High value programs). 2- Business Partnering with GBUs, GTMC, SBO teams 3- SRM with strategic vendors.
  • Individual will require a wide understanding of market in this evolving space and evolution of market opportunities.
    Individual is responsible to evaluate the pharma market practices within medical communication services and Events to help decisions makers with best options for Sanofi .

The position responsibilities and mission include but are not limited to:
o Implement the global procurement strategies to manage optimally the SBO & Medical or Commercial function spends as appropriate.
o Optimize Events & MedCom Spend
o Support Masterclasses / Workshop with internal & external stakeholders.
o Project management across procurement categories to deliver on time sourcing.
o Maintain knowledge of strategic suppliers and support tools allowing efficient oversights
o Early engage and connect to improve communication and delivery and overall customer experience
o Support procurement awareness across communities of stakeholders (e.g. by providing training on procurement)
Procurement operations:
o Adapt, implement & execute global category strategies,
o Support savings objectives at regional and country level
o Comply to Sanofi policies
o Support the most strategic negotiations for M&S procurement topics as well as any major supplier issues, represent procurement on key governances as assigned ensuring active participation. And support as requested by other categories to ensure improved business outcomes for Sanofi.
o Ensure source to Pay (end to end) processes continually improve and provide needs to other Business Transformation functions and procurement domains
o Report activities & Performance as requested.
Customer Centricity:
o Engage and facilitate the Regional Procurement network, the proper Business partnering in countries & regions, as it pertains to Sanofi Business Operations, Medical or commercial sourcing needs, Strategic and innovative approach for business solutions while in compliance with external and internal policies

Skills / Knowledge
Experience:
o 3+ years experience in Procurement or related field (including agency-side experience)
o Knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processes
o Defines and balances strategic priorities against immediate operational challenges
Soft skills:
o Project Management skills (planning, prioritizing)
o Consistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and results
o Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordingly
o Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent priorities/projects

Education: Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university
Languages: English language proficiency, written and verbal
