Job Title: Lead Developer - FX

Multiple Locations: NYC/ Charlotte, NC / Atlanta, GA

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration and development efforts for Wall Street Systems vendor applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of FX-related functionalities and payment workflows.
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions in compliance with ISO 20022 standards.
• Provide expert-level knowledge of FX products, including trade execution, payments, and settlements processes.
• Perform end-to-end testing and validation of SWIFT messaging and payment workflows.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support system integrations, data extractions, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers and QA engineers.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve integration-related issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Wall Street Systems (WSS) development and QA.
• Expertise in Foreign Exchange (FX) products, payment, and settlement processes.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL for query development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in SWIFT messaging standards, including MT and MX messages.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 20022 standards and their application in financial services.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex integration issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
