This is a full-time position with Tecknomic and the project is with the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA). This is an hybrid role (4 days a week onsite) in Washington DC. Candidate must have 6-10 years of experience as a SME/Developer in complex enterprise level developer projects. Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.
This React Developer position is in the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) who will develop a new application for the agency. CFSA is looking for a subject matter expert in React. The SME will be member of the DevOps team that will be implementing a new comprehensive child welfare information system (CCWIS). As a React developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing customized solutions using React. This includes coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating, modifying and troubleshooting.

The candidate will need to be able to participate in meetings from 8:30am-5:30pm eastern time zone. Deep knowledge (4 years) of React is required with at least two years working with Next.js and Node.js.. Other desired skills are knowledge of Typescript and cloud hosting such as Azure or AWS.

The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team of consultants to provide these services and will have the following skills/capabilities:
Interact with clients to understand complex business requirements
Create functional requirement and design for customizations
Accurately estimate level of effort for implementation tasks
Review developer proposed implementation and identify efficient designs
Work with Delivery architects, Technical Leads and developers to ensure access and security profiles meet the needs of the Agency, including verifying that the policies/restrictions in place.
Collaborate with Delivery architects, Technical Leads and developers to perform code reviews
Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills.

Education and Professional Qualifications
4+ years experience implementing, developing, supporting and maintaining React applications
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
At least 2 years experience in Next.js (Required)
Ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of personnel
Strong client-service orientation and focus
Thorough attention to detail and a strong desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to CFSAs
Experience across a variety of industries
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
