Nice to Have Skills:

Familiarity with source code repository tools to aid in discovery of interfaces utilized by web application systems.
Tech Writing, with an emphasis on communicating between the business and technical needs of a cross functional project team.
Ability to understand, update and create process diagrams in Visio.
The most qualified candidate will also demonstrate experience in one or more of the following areas:

WebSphere
GIT
Experience creating and maintaining architecture diagrams.
Web application development experience in Java or .NET
Web service development experience SOAP and/or REST

Business Analyst/Consultant capabilities with 10 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and business process needs.

Senior role that has responsibility supporting the analysis and documentation of asset inventories for existing software and systems, with an emphasis on existing web applications. This role will be assisting with system transformation efforts ensuring that business processes are properly mapped to supporting system assets; applications, data sets, interfaces, batch processes, and reports. When inventories are identified, this role will work with subject matter experts, SME's, from the business and technology teams to document links between the assets and business processes. Additionally this role may be asked to work with SME's to document important meta data associated with the assets that will streamline system transformation from existing mainframe based systems to a web based system. Good oral and written communication skills are required. This position currently offers the option to work up to 100% remote, this could change to 100% in house. On-site at the Madison, Wisconsin
Pay range: $40 to $45 per hour on W2.
