This role provides a unique opportunity for a skilled and experienced digital analyst to develop and grow a digital analytics practice across the Client organization.

This role will be a key contributor in establishing the vision for improving digital analytics and implementing a variety of customer experience metrics of key initiatives on our digital channels. You will analyze standard eCommerce and customer experience metrics and develop new reports based on custom events we want to measure. You will have a point of view and develop insights to share with your peers and key leaders to help develop focus areas for continued improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze various digital performance measures across a variety of B2B and B2C digital channels
  • Capture, review, and analyze web analytics, site usage, performance, customer behavior, and related metrics to understand changing trends and performance of our digital channels to identify what impacts the business and determine how to address
  • Assist in developing segmentation approaches for customers and prospects
  • Create and analyze regular and ad-hoc reporting on sales performance and customer experience analytics to monitor KPIs to understand the effectiveness of various improvements
  • Develop insights to share with stakeholders to help drive prioritization of efforts
  • Work with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement for revenue growth in digital curriculum and traditional physical products
  • Collaboration with other business intelligence personnel to design, develop, and support ongoing analytics dashboards across a variety of data sources.
  • Collaborate with the team responsible for Digital Marketing and the day-to-day business operations across the enterprise, and drive profitable growth in key performance indicators (e.g. ROI, customer acquisition/retention, traffic, goal conversion, end action rate, keyword performance, cost per lead, customer lifetime value/profitability, social interactions)
  • Advise leaders and manage tools and technology required within the enterprise to provide digital analytics services
  • Openly solicit feedback and support from business stakeholders, designers, developers, and project managers in our cross-functional environment
  • Build strong working relationships with teams across the organization to help facilitate awareness and support of business strategies and initiatives

  • Continually gather information on our competitors to understand their approach to similar customer experience challenges
  • Stay up to date with broad customer experience and eCommerce trends to inform your thinking and thought leadership within Client.

Key Measurements

  • Improvements to eCommerce performance metrics of specific areas of improvement (e.g. conversation rate, engagement, etc.)
  • Quality and accuracy of data gathering and development of customer insights based on data
  • Completion of assigned work in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, economics, quantitative discipline or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a digital analytics role, with emphasis on the extensive use of tagging across content and ecommerce platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Expertise in tag management, with a demonstrated ability to personally manage complex, custom tagging setups
  • Shopify eCommerce platform experience preferred
  • Experience with A/B testing tools is ideal
  • Advanced knowledge of custom events and how to leverage a data layer for additional metrics
  • Collaborative, self-starter, with a sense of urgency, and accountability to deliver results.
