About the Role

As an Autodesk Inventor System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing complex engineering solutions using Autodesk Inventor. Your expertise in parametric modeling and your proficiency with the Autodesk Inventor API will be instrumental in delivering high-quality and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

Autodesk Inventor Modeling:

  • Demonstrate extensive experience in modeling complex components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Create accurate and detailed models based on design specifications.
  • Utilize parametric modeling techniques to enhance design flexibility and efficiency.

API Proficiency:

  • Possess strong skills in using the Autodesk Inventor API to automate tasks, customize workflows, and integrate with other systems.

Parametric Modeling:

  • Apply parametric modeling principles to create flexible and reusable models.
  • Use parameters and constraints to define relationships between model elements.

Drawing Creation:

  • Create detailed and accurate drawings based on previous standards.
  • Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards and company specifications.

Programming:

  • Leverage your experience with iLogic and VBA to automate tasks and customize Inventor workflows.
  • Cloud Native Development:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of cloud-native development principles and technologies.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate Autodesk Inventor with cloud-based platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience using Autodesk Inventor for product design and development.
  • Strong proficiency in parametric modeling techniques.
  • Experience with iLogic and VBA programming.
  • Understanding of cloud-native development concepts (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Autodesk Inventor or related software.
  • Experience with data management and PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations
