At Noonlight our mission is to protect and comfort people so they can live freely. What began as an app focused on helping people walk safely from Point A to Point B is now a suite of emergency response APIs backing some of the smartest home, health, lifestyle, and commercial security products in the market.

We are looking for an experienced seller who can join our field sales team and help us spread Noonlight's vision of Automatic Safety. Ideally, you share our passion for improving personal safety and are comfortable having an impact by shaping the world around you. Experience selling into medium-sized businesses ($20MM-$100MM in annual revenues) and with deal sizes around $20K-$50K is a significant plus.

At Noonlight, the Account Executive has the support of a Sales Development Rep (SDR) and the Product/Customer Success team to carry prospective customers through the sales cycle. You are responsible for prospecting in addition to the SDR's contributions to pipeline, for developing a fundamental understanding of the technical implementations of the product, and for bringing clarity and empathy to the negotiating table.

This is a hybrid role and reports out of our office in Austin, TX.

WHAT EXCITES YOU

  • Making the world a safer place through your daily work routines
  • Disrupting the personal safety industry
  • Helping others bring better products to market
  • Working in an environment where collaboration, communication, and growth are daily occurrences
  • Serving an integral role in scaling revenue

WHAT EXCITES US

  • Willingness to learn and grow in quick cycles
  • Passion for helping people
  • Strong sense of ownership, work ethic, and self-motivation
  • Exceptional problem solving/analytical skills
  • Empathy and the ability to improve our sales processes from the customer's perspective
  • A focus on delivering repeatable, predictable quota achievement

WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR NOONLIGHT?

  • Live by and champion our values: Obsess Over Customers (Not Competitors), Keep it Simple, Break Dumb Rules, Take Care of Each Other, and Enjoy the Ride
  • Be an advocate: automatic safety should (and can!) be built into every product
  • Be hands on: many will talk about it, but only you can execute on it
  • Be a perfectionist: care about the best customer experience and the way that Noonlight can best deliver it
  • Be an expert: customers are looking to you to make sense of things
  • Be a collaborator: you're on the frontline and best positioned to serve as the voice of the open market for our product team
  • Be flexible: control what you can control, influence where you can, and hold the results loosely; we win together
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bring your ideas!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in B2B sales—SDR, ISR, ISS, ISA, CS, and AE (+ any acronym you're thinking about) experience all counts!
  • A focus on the four A's:
    • Activity (sellers must be in a constant state of doing)
    • Agency (you have control over your doing)
    • Acceleration (be purposeful in your doing)
    • Alignment (add value with your doing)
  • Empathy and curiosity
NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience selling to mid-size enterprises, ranging from $20MM - $100MM in annual revenues
  • SaaS experience (only so concepts like MRR, ARR, land-and-expand deals, and speedy sales cycles make intuitive sense to you)
  • Exceptional cornhole skills
  • Willingness to ooh and ahh at cute pet pictures in Slack, and maybe even pets of your own to share pictures of
