We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep knowledge of the reinsurance industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and provide recommendations that drive operational efficiency and improve business outcomes in reinsurance.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Requirement Gathering & Analysis:**

- Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to reinsurance policies, claims, and underwriting processes.

- Conduct workshops, interviews, and focus groups to understand client needs and translate them into functional specifications.

2. **Process Improvement:**

- Analyze existing reinsurance business processes and identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency.

- Recommend solutions to streamline reinsurance workflows, including policy administration, claims handling, risk management, and reporting.

3. **System Implementation & Testing:**

- Collaborate with IT teams and third-party vendors to implement reinsurance software solutions.

- Define user stories, functional requirements, and technical specifications.

- Assist in system configuration and integration with other insurance platforms.

- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that the system meets business needs.

4. **Data Analysis & Reporting:**

- Analyze reinsurance data, including premium, loss ratios, and risk exposure.

- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights to management for decision-making.

- Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

5. **Stakeholder Management:**

- Serve as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and external reinsurance partners.

- Communicate complex business and technical concepts to stakeholders at various levels.

6. **Compliance & Regulatory Requirements:**

- Ensure that all reinsurance processes and systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations impacting reinsurance and update internal processes as necessary.

7. **Documentation & Training:**

- Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides.

- Provide training to end-users on new systems and processes.

### **Skills & Qualifications:**

- **Educational Background:**

- Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.

- Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CBAP, PMP) is a plus.

- **Experience:**

- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance or reinsurance domain.

- Strong understanding of reinsurance concepts, including treaty and facultative reinsurance, pricing models, risk management, and claims handling.

- **Technical Skills:**

- Experience with reinsurance administration systems (e.g., SAP FS-RI, SICS, etc.).

- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar).

- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.

- **Soft Skills:**

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

### **Preferred Certifications:**

- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

- Professional Risk Manager (PRM)

- Reinsurance certifications (e.g., ARe)
