My client an esteemed Bitcoin mining hosting provider is looking for a REMOTE Financial Controller $150-200K (can be from any time zone, my client cannot sponsor any candidates, and must be a U.S. citizen)
If you are a finance professional in renewable energy, this is a fantastic opportunity to build out all processes for the financial department and build your own team.
Duties include:
Financial Controlling and Reporting
Start-up company w/investors, some other responsibilities include creating a newsletter
Must have experience with external auditor and financial management expertise
Experience in corporate controllership, come into a start-up, have the opportunity to have strong equity grant within next 3-5 years.
If you have worked at a start-up, or technology, data center, or Bitcoin space
CPA required
Controller will be managing 2 people at the start, accountant who has been doing all bookkeeping, debits/credits/, AR, and financial analysis. Financial specialist- AP, payroll, HR,
Versed in HR would be a +
Top 3
1- somebody has experience, competence, confidence;
2- Someone who has experience, this is the direction our Finance Org needs to go and then go do, work with other stakeholders. Work with other VP’s and explain their place.
3- Someone will to get into the weeds helping other departments at times.
Salary $150-200K + equity , 5-15% bonus structure hitting different goals

Duties include:
Financial Controlling and Reporting
- Collaborate with development teams to monitor project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures monthly.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation and perform accrual and cash reconciliations.
- Maintain databases for key US contracts, including leases and intercompany agreements.
- Review financial statements for compliance with US GAAP, group policies, and other standards.
- Assist in preparing quarterly group reporting packages with accounting teams.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, providing strategic insights.
- Prepare financial reports for senior management and Board presentations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and tools to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure internal controls safeguard company assets.
- Support M&A transactions, including financial and tax due diligence.
- Work with the Finance Manager on strategies aligned with company goals
