Description:
Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing of network infrastructure and components. Leads and manages a team of network professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they perform their roles effectively and efficiently. Performs a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation, and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets company and user expectations. Reports to the Infrastructure Director.

1. Monitors network performance and ensures system availability and reliability.
2. Configures and installs various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, Wi-Fi, VPNs, QoS, Cloud connectivity)
3. Provides continuing support and training to network users.
4. Performs network maintenance and system upgrades including firmware upgrades, patches, hardware installation, and security configurations.
5. Researches and recommends vendor upgrades or infrastructure modifications.
6. Monitors network resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
7. Creates test environments to test new applications, production changes, or diagnose problems.
8. Maintains documentation of network hardware and software inventory
9. Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
10. Investigates, communicates, and troubleshoots network issues and documents using ticketing system.
11. Selects, implements, and monitors security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the organization's security team.
12. Coordinates with vendors and other Information Technology personnel for effective communication, support, and problem resolution
13. Coordinates with Circuit providers to maintain capacity between sites and Internet connections. Maintain contracts related to network services.
14. Ensures excellent service standards and high customer satisfaction.
