Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize Material: Complete writing assignments following established standards for

order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.

  • Record Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive records and files of all work and revisions.
  • Editing and Standardizing: Edit, standardize, or make changes to materials prepared by

other writers or establishment personnel.

  • Illustration Selection: Select appropriate photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and

charts to enhance and illustrate the written material.

  • Technical Interviews: Conduct interviews with production and engineering personnel and

review journals and other materials to become thoroughly familiar with product

technologies and production methods.

  • Creation and Editing: Create and/or edit written materials ensuring consistency and

accuracy.

  • Technical Documentation: Compile accurate and detailed technical information or

documentation.

  • File Management: Maintain organized records, documents, and other files.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in selecting and incorporating visual elements (e.g., diagrams, charts).
  • Ability to conduct detailed interviews and research to gather technical information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with standard documentation tools and software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering personnel.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with technical documentation in a related industry.
  • Familiarity with specific technical domains relevant to the company’s products and

services.

  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and documentation tools

Key Requirements

At least 3-5 years of proven experience as a Technical Writer.

Education: Minimum High School Diploma
