Job Description
This Energy Project Manager role is for an energetic professional with a passion for providing design services on community-changing projects. The Fort Collins office is looking for a leader in energy-related projects with an emphasis on oil and gas permitting, projects, and coordination. In this role, you'll be involved in every aspect of oil and gas and other energy-related projects. From making design decisions to crafting plans, permits, reports, and specifications, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge developments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Registered PE with 4 or more years of experience in Colorado or 8 - 10 years minimum of related skills and experience in the Oil and Gas field (specifically well-pads)
Must have experience designing in Civil 3D (as well as experience working in Word, Excel, Bluebeam, MS Project, ArcGIS Pro)
Ability to work well with, coach and direct others with different personalities and professional styles
Proven ability to establish and maintain client relationships
Strong communication skills
Ability to plan and deliver effective oral and written presentations
Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
Knowledge of business fundamentals, including project control and client relations
General knowledge of preparing proposals
Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a multitasking environment

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Site planning and design, including designing underground lines
- Permits for clients (location permitting, well permitting)
- Hydrology mapping, hydration pictures, hydration drawings
- Directional well pads, storm water, geological hazard maps, 2A/2D documentation, well board diagrams, drilling, and space units
- Experience with local jurisdictions in CO and counties there
- 100% employee owned
- Been in business for 65 yrs
