The Position

The Opportunity:

Expert in contracting & pricing business processes and the systems used in the processes. Capable of accurately observing and mapping existing processes, while suggesting measurement and improvement techniques.

A member of and collaborator to global BPM teams & the wider BPM network; will collaborate with members of this network and stakeholders to observe & share best practices and drive business transformation. Supports governance boards across functions and within programs or projects.

Job Facts:

  • Acts as various Agile roles depending on project needs & skills of project members.
  • Contributes to the implementation of Pricing, Contracting, & Operations strategy. Owns, drives, and seeks new opportunities for continuous improvement. Uses reporting tools to provide regular metrics for continuous improvement objectives.
  • Empowered to make decisions for the area of expertise across franchises and in line with guardrails set for the overall area. Must be able to communicate effectively with business leaders, end-users of varying technical expertise, and technical audiences with varying business acumen.
  • Works independently within guidelines and policies, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and provides functional guidance.

Who You Are:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Informatics, Engineering or a comparable education
  • 7 years professional experience in a related field; OR 5 years with a Master's degree
  • Business fluency in English
  • Experience with business intelligence/data analytics


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Demonstrated expertise in technical software projects, with experience in SAP, Salesforce and CPQ/CLM
  • Experience in Business Process Management, Information Management / IT, Finance/Procurement, Risk/Internal Control Management, Accounting, or Audit
  • Knowledge in the area of (SAP) authorization and access management and GRC tools, based on business process management or IT experience and expertise
  • Strong technical competencies in SAP FI/CO, solid process knowledge in finance and procurement processes, good IFRS Accounting skills
  • Proven methodological skills e.g. BPM, Six Sigma (DMAIC), agile ways of working (Scrum), continuous improvement (Lean, PDCA, Kaizen)
  • Agile mindset (speed, stability, flexibility) - works according to and brings in the agile mindset concept in daily operations

This role is based out of our Indianapolis, IN Roche office, with onsite presence needed

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $94,900/yr to $176,200/yr. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
