Your Role
The New Product Development team is responsible for developing and implementing innovative product concepts across multiple lines of business. As drivers Blue Shield's Virtual Care program, product managers focus on measuring the effectiveness of existing programs while introducing program enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and clinical outcomes. The Product Manager Principal will report to the Senior Manager. In this role you will be responsible for reporting program metrics to senior leaders, ensuring third party vendors are meeting service level agreements, and developing strategies to grow and retain membership.

The pay range for this role is: $ 118800.00 to $ 178200.00 for California.

Your Role

The Product Manager Principal will report to the Senior Manager. Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Support line of business strategies to grow and retain membership in the Virtual Care program including financial analysis and membership projections
- Lead cross-functional workgroups as needed for product implementations
- Conduct secondary market research and apply to product strategy as needed
- Analyze data and make recommendations for product improvements
- Track, organize and monitor monthly third-party vendor reporting; Analyze data for trends and opportunities
- Support the agile leadership team by writing user stories and acceptance criteria covering multiple user types that support product outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Public Health, Information Technology, or similar fields or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires expert knowledge of product management and strategic planning principles
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills that help drive data driven decisions strongly preferred
- Ability to build effective relationships across the organization in a matrixed environment and externally, with vendors and business partners
- Demonstrated experience of successfully developing and launching healthcare products or services strongly preferred
