Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join their team. This role will start as a contract position with the potential to transition into full-time employment. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. You will work closely with HR management, Payroll, and other departments to support employees and ensure compliance with company policies.

Essential Functions

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Maintain I-9 files and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
  • Assist with FMLA and leave of absence administration.
  • Handle benefits administration duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with HR management, Payroll, and other departments to resolve employee inquiries and provide support.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding benefits administration, including FMLA, HIPAA, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR/Benefits administration experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG or Paylocity is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits, including FMLA, HIPAA, and leave of absence policies.
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to employee benefits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
