Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic team in Uptown, Charlotte. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency for our digital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Write and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions and ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor cloud resources, identify issues, and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for cloud security and compliance.
- Participate in on-call support and troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proficiency in Terraform and/or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with cloud security best practices and monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
