Under general supervision, assists the Manager in the Mission Division.

WORK SCHEDULE IS PART TIME FROM OCTOBER THROUGH JANUARY, then FULL-TIME JAN. 15 – MAR. 23RD.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Assist International, Jr. Rodeo Committee (JRC), Health, Industrial Craft Competition (ICC) and Trailblazer committees in various administrative duties. Projects include but not limited to providing general support for committees.

  • Assisting with committee correspondence, membership maintenance, badge and credential management, accounting processes, meeting preparation, etc.
  • Assists exhibitors, committeemen and general public with various Show related inquiries in person and on the telephone.
  • HOTELS – manage hotel room blocks for several groups, booking reservations working closely with contracted hotels and managing the reservation data base.
  • Organizes and maintains filing system, files correspondence and other records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Customer service-related work experience required. 2 - 3 years clerical experience in a fast-paced office environment, professionalism and excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Must have strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of merging documents required. Experience with Microsoft Office with Data Base Management preferred.

Language Skills

Must be proficient in translating and writing the Spanish language.
