Position: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-time (Contract or Regular)
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage security measures to protect systems and data
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration testing
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards
Requirements:
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C/C++
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
- Knowledge of security tools and technologies including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewall systems
- Understanding of networking protocols, encryption algorithms, and access controls
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles
- Hands-on experience with security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and tools
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous
Working Hours:
- Standard working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Education:
- No specific university degree required; relevant cybersecurity certifications are valued
