Job Overview:

This position will be responsible for leading the establishment and ongoing management of IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, network administration, cybersecurity, and project management, with proven experience in a leadership role.

It is essential for candidates to be bilingual in both Chinese and English. Additionally, we prefer candidates with experience in manufacturing, the semiconductor industry, or those who have worked in warehouse or workshop environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software infrastructure ensuring it is reliable, secure, and scalable to support business and operational needs.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies and policies that support company objectives.
  • Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement of IT solutions and services.
  • Ensure seamless integration of IT systems with other business processes and technologies.
  • Plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends to maintain the organization's competitive edge and optimize IT resources effectively to support the company s strategic and tactical priorities.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, including cost control and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and support the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in both Chinese and English.
  • Experience in manufacturing, the semiconductor industry, or those who have worked in warehouse or workshop environments.
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology or similar field; Master s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with multi-server network environment (Microsoft/Linux/Citrix), LAN/WAN, Fiber optic and Cisco/HP networking, MS Exchange Server, MS SQL, VMware Vsphere/Microsoft HyperV, IBM AS/400, and Thin client multi-user application.
  • Ability to understand and apply knowledge of network concepts, techniques, and principles.
  • Knowledge and understanding of physical and virtualized networks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer systems and equipment problems.
  • Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks, and related hardware and software.
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific IT requirements and regulations is a plus.
