As a Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping the success of our business unit by performing in-depth analysis, generating insightful reports, and providing actionable recommendations. You'll have the opportunity to optimize processes, enhance reporting models, and contribute to meaningful improvements that drive efficiency and growth.

In this role, you'll work on small to medium projects, developing creative solutions for business challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams. With guidance from leadership, you'll proactively recommend changes to policies and procedures, ensuring our business remains agile and responsive. Your keen analytical skills will also be utilized to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing valuable support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks and analysis related to client and government reporting on forms 1099, 1042-S, and 990-T
  • Perform routine reporting and analysis contributing to recommendations for the business unit based on their needs for minor process improvement, along with assisting in small to medium projects within business unit
  • Working directly with business partners in a professional, effective manner to provide needed assistance or training, resolve discrepancies, and build relationships
  • Develop solutions for routine and less complex problems for the business unit. Trouble shoot, resolve problems or issues, while contributing to define solutions
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent (2 years)
  • 1+ years in Financial Services operations

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4 years)
  • 3+ years in Financial Services operations
  • Knowledge of 1099, 1042-S, and 990-T reporting forms
  • Accurate documentation, attention to detail and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word; familiarity with Access/database applications
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to initiate and implement process improvements
