Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the Marketing Team in Miamsiburg. The ideal candidate will be autonomous and proactive individual, capable of independently driving the analytics function and delivering impactful solutions with minimal supervision. They will possess strong analytical skills, with experience in developing pricing models, conducting marketing mix analysis, and managing complex datasets. Proficiency in Snowflake or Databricks, SQL (Microsoft, PostgreSQL), and Python is essential, along with robust database management skills, including handling PII. A background in retail, marketing, or agency roles is advantageous, and while experience in real estate is beneficial, it is not essential. The candidate should be results-oriented, thriving in a high-energy and demanding environment, and should demonstrate a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset. Additionally, they should be growth-minded, eager to advance in their career, and ready to take on leadership responsibilities as the analytics function develops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining advanced pricing models to optimize pricing strategies and enhance profitability.
- Conducting comprehensive marketing mix analysis to assess and improve the effectiveness of various marketing channels and strategies.
- Managing and analyzing large datasets, ensuring data integrity, and handling personally identifiable information (PII) responsibly.
- Generating actionable insights from data to drive improvements in marketing strategies and property management processes.
- Enhancing SEO efforts, regional marketing models, and property leasing forecasts.
- Utilizing tools like Snowflake or Databricks, SQL, and Python to analyze and interpret data effectively.
- Providing recommendations based on data analysis to influence business strategies and outcomes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors in a STEM Degree
Experience: 3+ Years
- Skills: Python, SQL, Database management (PII is a plus), Snowflake or Databricks, Mixed Modeling, Pricing Models
- Mindset: Growth Focused, Self-Starter, Proactive
