Job Title: Performance Test Lead/Architect

Job Location: Piscataway, NJ

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Well versed with performance testing project activities including requirements gathering, planning, designing scripts and creating test data, executing load tests, reporting observations, server monitoring and analysis.
  • Experience in building modular automated performance test scripts to identify load and scalability concerns for web-based applications and mobile applications utilizing SOA design and APIs in a continuous integration environment

Proficiency in:

  • Performance Testing Tools Load Runner, JMeter, Neo Load
  • Monitoring Tools - Dynatrace, Team Quest, AppDynamics, Blaze Meter
  • Experience in creating test scripts using Load Runner/JMeter Tool for the protocols - Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services, TruClient Web protocols.
  • Designing and implementing technical performance test plan and strategy.
  • Executing load, stress, endurance, failover, and scalability tests.
  • Proficiency in testing Http based Web Applications and skilled in monitoring Web/App/DB layers for performance improvements.
  • Proven experience in performance testing and tuning. Knowledge of JVM tuning based on test results.
  • Good knowledge on network sniffers like Fiddler, Burp Suite etc.
  • Ability to take each performance bottleneck analysis as far as possible, to the point of being able to suggest a fix.
  • Analyzing test results and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in configuring and manage the performance test environment that mimics the production environment as closely as possible.
  • Working experience in Agile methodology using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Research new ways of performance testing and recommend system configuration and tuning improvements based on observations
  • Staying updated on industry trends and emerging tools in performance testing.
  • Working experience in Onshore-Offshore model.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address performance issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
