Job Title: Performance Test Lead/Architect
Job Location: Piscataway, NJ
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Well versed with performance testing project activities including requirements gathering, planning, designing scripts and creating test data, executing load tests, reporting observations, server monitoring and analysis.
- Experience in building modular automated performance test scripts to identify load and scalability concerns for web-based applications and mobile applications utilizing SOA design and APIs in a continuous integration environment
Proficiency in:
- Performance Testing Tools Load Runner, JMeter, Neo Load
- Monitoring Tools - Dynatrace, Team Quest, AppDynamics, Blaze Meter
- Experience in creating test scripts using Load Runner/JMeter Tool for the protocols - Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services, TruClient Web protocols.
- Designing and implementing technical performance test plan and strategy.
- Executing load, stress, endurance, failover, and scalability tests.
- Proficiency in testing Http based Web Applications and skilled in monitoring Web/App/DB layers for performance improvements.
- Proven experience in performance testing and tuning. Knowledge of JVM tuning based on test results.
- Good knowledge on network sniffers like Fiddler, Burp Suite etc.
- Ability to take each performance bottleneck analysis as far as possible, to the point of being able to suggest a fix.
- Analyzing test results and providing actionable recommendations.
- Experience in configuring and manage the performance test environment that mimics the production environment as closely as possible.
- Working experience in Agile methodology using Scrum or Kanban.
- Research new ways of performance testing and recommend system configuration and tuning improvements based on observations
- Staying updated on industry trends and emerging tools in performance testing.
- Working experience in Onshore-Offshore model.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address performance issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
