Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist to join our team onsite in Stamford, CT. This role involves managing and optimizing IT assets through the ServiceNow platform, ensuring the organization s ITAM processes align with industry best practices and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • ITAM Strategy & Execution: Lead the end-to-end management of IT assets, including hardware, software, and cloud resources, leveraging the ServiceNow ITAM module.
  • Lifecycle Management: Develop and implement processes for asset lifecycle management including procurement, deployment, usage, maintenance, and disposal.
  • ServiceNow Customization: Configure and customize the ServiceNow ITAM module according to business requirements and ensure seamless integration with other ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CMDB, and SAM.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Maintain accurate IT asset data within the CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and provide regular reports on asset utilization, compliance, and cost management.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and reduce IT asset-related risks by managing hardware and software audits.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to manage contracts, licenses, and support agreements related to IT assets.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in ITAM processes and workflows, aiming to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Training & Documentation: Provide training to staff on ITAM best practices and maintain comprehensive documentation of asset management processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 13 years of experience in IT Asset Management with expertise in ServiceNow ITAM.
  • ServiceNow Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, particularly ITAM, ITSM, and CMDB modules.
  • Certification: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITAM) or similar certification is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management, software license management, and IT procurement processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions for asset management.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex ITAM challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
