Our client is seeking a P21 Analyst for a remote opportunity.

Role Description

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Meet with business users, show them how to use P21, implement P21 from a functional/business side (not technical), improve processes
This person will make a difference, right now they have so many operating inefficiencies, this person will make people's jobs easier. They can come in and suggest better way of doing things, come up with solutions
Travel to sites 25-50% every month (try to not travel but as they continue to do improvement projects) - mostly East Coast and South in TX
80-90% business facing / 10-20% technical

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated P21 Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with the Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system, a strong understanding of business processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The P21 Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, Finance, and Sales, to ensure that P21 ERP solutions align with business goals and optimize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Implementation & Support: Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of the Epicor P21 ERP system across various business units. Provide ongoing support and training to users to ensure the efficient use of the system.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Data Management: Oversee data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Work with stakeholders to define data management strategies, including data entry, data cleansing, and data validation.
- Integration Development: Collaborate with technical teams to develop and maintain integrations between P21 and other business systems (e.g., CRM, WMS, EDI). Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems..
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to P21 ERP, including new module implementations, system upgrades, and process improvements. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring clear
communication and understanding of project goals, objectives, and expectations. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years of experience working with the Epicor P21 ERP system.
- Proven track record of successful ERP implementation and support.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, particularly Epicor P21.
- Experience with data migration, integration development, and system customization.
- Proficient in SQL and data analysis tools.

Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- This role may require occasional travel to various company locations.
- May involve working outside of regular business hours to meet project deadlines or support critical system issues

Required Technical Skills:
7-8 years of experience, especially with implementations, lead on implementations
New implementations and continuous improvement - some implementations were 3-4 years ago, training employees at the sites for people not using Standard Operating Procedures
No P21 development, just functional - how do you do shipping, order entry - configure the systems, ask the users about their current process then give them options on how to do all the different pieces, expert in order to cash / quote to cash process - not business rules or reports
Need to be able to speak the business language
