Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment workflows and ensure smooth releases.
• Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, databases, and networking resources.
• Implement and oversee configuration management, monitoring, and alerting systems using Azure DevOps tools and other technologies.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build, deployment, and infrastructure.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and high availability of cloud environments.
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing DevOps practices and processes.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps Services and Azure Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Azure Pipelines, Git, and GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Experience with large-scale, high-availability cloud environments.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
