Customer Service Specialist

**3-MONTH CONTRACT TO HIRE**

Seeking a Customer Service Professional with prior experience in B2B sales and order processing. 3-month contract to hire for the right individual who demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

DUTIES:

• Daily customer service duties, including phone and email communications regarding product pricing, availability, and basic technical inquiries.
• Daily purchasing activities, which include but are not limited to, receipt, confirmation and processing of customer and distributor orders, receipt, and processing of stock orders.
• Data Entry activities, which include but are not limited to, entry of new items for sale, entry of order information on Log, completion of packing documents, updating distributor pricing sheets.
• Daily accounting activities, which include but are not limited to, order invoicing and posting of payments received to customer accounts, credit card processing, past due follow-up, and collections, working with banking agents on special payments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent customer service skills, phone manners, and working knowledge of Windows based software. Ability to learn and effectively use accounting software. SAP or other ERP system experience a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform tasks in a timely manner and to have the ability to adjust daily workload to accommodate changes in schedule.
• Work 100% onsite in Richmond, VA, Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p (occasional after-hours duties)
• HS Diploma/GED required, Associate s or Bachelor s degree preferred
